I’m trying to use up all of my stash apparently. This is manifesting by finding another project for the last of the Spring Day yarn that I spun. I’m not sure how I like it as I’m only a couple rows in so far. It’s supposed to be a hat.
I haven’t worked on the Timey Wimey socks in ages. My free time with gaming has typically be spent with the spinning wheel. Though we have gone to a couple movies where they got some attention. I tried them on last night and I’m at the point where I can either switch to the grey and do some ribbing … or I can use the rest of the yarn and get at least another color sequence out of it. Of course I’m going for another color sequence but I’ll need to add some stitches in for my calves. so I took a moment to mark the centers of the back.
This is a bit of a mystery yarn as in I have to plan while spinning. My girlfriend bought it and then gifted it to me a couple years back. It was in a braid at one point but I don’t believe it was by the time I got it as about half of it is tangled and in chunks. It’s superwash though so it spins pretty smooth, other than the weird tangled bits. I’m just slowly grabbing random bits and adding them in.
I played a bit more in Star Wars and have made it to level 15. Nothing has really changed on my character other than a badly designed gun and a dumb looking helmet … so no picture.
Brayan’s Gold by Peter V. Brett. I haven’t got further than the first chapter so no opinon on this one just yet, though it almost certainly has to be better than the one I just finished.
