WIP Wednesday: Sock Progress

Knitting:
I have only a round or two to finish before I’m completely done with the gussett decreases. Then it will just be zoom down the foot to the toe.

We watched a movie Friday night so the stripy socks were pulled out and another color was knit through.

Spinning:
I finished the first half of my fiber. I still can’t get the right set up to show the pretty purples and teal next to the blues or the slight shimmer the color has. But it’s still pretty and fairly consistant on thickness.

Gaming:

I finished The Hobbit and started up The LEGO Movie Videogame – Wii U. It’s pretty cute, super kid friendly as the puzzles are a little easier to figure out, and the building games are mostly matching the colors.

Reading:

New Amsterdam by Elizabeth Bear. It’s a series of short stories that could be read alone but they all concern the same central character and several secondary characters. I really enjoy the way it’s set up and following Sebastian in his travels.

Your work is so inspiring! See me not being a jerk and asking you to make me a pair as soon as you’re done with the others? Actually, it kind of seems sad to think feet being in them and causing wear, tear, and mayhem… I love the colorway in that thread.

Love the socks, especially stripey ones that seem to zoom along.
