WIP Wednesday: Stitch Progress

I have managed to get to the heel flap and should be able to do the turn soon. I love the turn, it’s like magic.

The time traveler socks are coming along as well, thanks to Monday night gaming. And now they’re long enough to comfortably put the yarn in each sock so no more tangled yarn.

I realized last night while spinning that this is going to take longer than I thought it would. On the plus side, it’s super pretty. This picture is a bit better than last weeks since it shows a bit more of the colors in the fiber.

Still sitting on LEGO The Hobbit – Wii U, though I’m almost done with it I think. I think I have just a few side missions to clean up and I’ll be done.

New Amsterdam by Elizabeth Bear. Well, it’s next on the list anyhow. I finished my other book yesterday and opened this one but didn’t get a chance to actually begin reading.

Question for my friends that visit here: Is there interest in me starting a WIP Wednesday / FO Friday Link Up? I have several listed on my sidebar but sometimes more is desired.

What pretty fiber! That is going to be some beautiful yarn. I never thought of putting my yarn inside the sock in progress. Pretty smart!

I also love turning the heel! Isn’t that funny? Before I started knitting socks, all I ever heard were horror stories about how turning the heel was a nightmare. Of course, I’ve only ever made the flap and gusset kind of heel. Who knows how it will be when I try a short-row or afterthought heel…

I’ve not thought of tucking the yarn inside the socks…brilliant…
