WIP Wednesday: Hitchhiker

Knitting:
This gorgeous yak and bamboo yarn was up next when I went fishing for a new project. Thanks to Megan for suggesting the hitchhicker shawl. I love how it’s knitting up and I think it’s going to play wonderfully with the colors. The yarn itself is like a dream, so soft and squishy.

Gaming:

I’m still stuck on LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, though I might have to find something else since Jon got a couple new games for the PS3. Though if I can finish it soon then I can move to one of the new Wii U games I have since I can play those on the game pad while he’s on the TV.

Reading:

The Ape’s Wife and Other Stories by Caitlin R. Kirnan. I’ve been flying through books lately thanks to a Humble Bundle deal. Several of them have been short story collections like this one. I’m really enjoying this book. Normally I’m not a fan of short stories but Caitlin has a knack for giving me enough to feel like the story should end where it does and each one has been a delight to read.
