Green Dress

I used the same pattern I’ve used a couple times previously but made a few modifications to it.

I competely left the sleeves off so I can wear a shirt under it, as shown here, or go without depending on the weather. The simple act of leaving the sleeves off saved me so much time and frustration. I also did a contrast trim on the skirt and the arm holes. Net time I’ll shorten the shoulders a bit as they keep slipping off, particuarly when I don’t wear a shirt underneath, plus I don’t want my sports bra peeking through at the edges.

I love the fabric and how soft it is. I also love that I now have green to match the unit colors. Now to find the fabric for a blue version.

This looks really nice. I’m sure leaving the sleeves off helped make it easier to create.

It’s very very nice. HAHA nice comment above! I have also put in sleeves backwards…I thought maybe it was something only I would do.
