WIP Wednesday: Kilt Plaid

So, I was sort of zipping along the pattern, mostly following it, though it wasn’t fully clicking in my head. Then I realized it looked just a smidgen too small. I had Lynn pull it on and yep, at least 2 decreases too many to fit comfortably over the heel. So I ripped back 5 rows to remove those. And then I couldn’t figure out what row I was on since it hadn’t been lining up exactly. Counting from the start of the colorwork quickly made my stomach sink and my head hurt. I needed to rip out over 35 more rows of colorwork. :sob: On the plus side, I’ve made up nearly all the difference and the pattern is finally clicking and lining up with the chart.

I’ve spent nearly all my time in Dungeon Siege lately since I can knit a row, approach the next group of bad guys, then while I knit another row my group slowly earns back their health and mana.

UnEnchanted by Chanda Hahn. I have quite literally just cracked this open so I haven’t a clue what it’s going to be about or how enjoyable it will be.

Oh, man, ripping out complicated work is the worst. I’m glad you’ve made a full recovery, though!
