WIP Wednesday: Dreaming and More

I feel like I’m making huge jumps each week, despite the shawl getting larger. It’s finally reached a point where it’s mostly intuitive plus I can’t wait to see how the colors will line up and play together. Speaking of colors, I just added in my 3rd skein of yarn last night so I’m at about halfway done!

Thanks to noevilliveon being awesome I managed a bit of consistent and fairly nice spinning! :squee!: Drafting finally makes sense!

I got 1 whole piece cut out! :falls over: For some reason it seemed to take forever to get that piece cut. The fabric is stretchy … and clingy. I think I need scissors to cut it rather than my rotary blade as that seems to make it pull and move a bit more than is comfortable to deal with.

None this week. I’m certain of what happens when she returns to the mountain but I’m not sure if anything happens to delay her before the mountain.

Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris. I’m really loving the return to Bon Temps and the world of Sookie Stackhouse. I just need more time and to read faster!

  1. Gorgeous shawl. Love the oranges. It always feels like it’s taking forever, but at least you don’t have to be constantly referring to the pattern now 🙂

    • Thank you! Well, at this point it’s been 2 months, so I’m certainly ready for it to be done. I’m just shocked that it actually feels like it’s going fairly quickly when I’ve had so little time to work on it. Though of course when I get to the point where I think I’m doing good on the pattern it changes and I have to go back to checking every few stitches. LOL

That shawl is really pretty. I like the texture of the pattern, and the yarn you are using.
