Silk Bracelet

This little one took me only a couple hours to put together. I was given a free silk hanky at a trunk show and shown how to draft it.

Playing with the silk was so much fun and it’s so incredibly soft. There was so little that I just knew it would be perfect for a simple accessory. So I drafted it fairly thin and did a basic i-cord. A couple of jewelry findings that I had on hand and bam! I have a pretty bracelet.

  1. See … that’s what I should have done with my leftover mawatas! Great idea!

  2. Great idea. Especially with the nice clasp so it can be reused.
