Twisted Waters

This is a case of a dream yarn being paired with the dream pattern and the result … all I could dream of!

I can’t remember now which I saw first, the yarn or the pattern but I know I fell hard for both of them and once I’d seen both I knew they were meant to go together. The yarn has been sitting my stash for over a year patiently waiting to be used.

The first sock just zoomed by, the cables were fun and just enough of a distraction at the right times. The second sock was cast on and ripped out at least 8 times before I could get the stripes to magically appear similar to the first sock. Once I mastered that problem I was good to go. There’s no mirroring on the cables, but they’re still different enough to keep my attention, even on a second sock. Speaking of the cables:

I love the cables ever so much. These socks are truly all I could ask for.
