Cthulhu Anywhere

Four different people brought up a Cthulhu mask of some sort in a week. So I decided it was time to actually make one.

I used the new Brava from Knit Picks and was incredibly impressed with it. It’s acrylic but super soft and easy to knit. Normally acrylic is plasticy to some degree on my fingers and I dislike working with it. Not this acrylic! It was lovely, squishy, and soft from the very beginning.

I think I want to play with the tentacles a bit more in the future, perhaps have fewer, or balance them a bit differently. Otherwise I’m very pleased with a first attempt.

  1. Cool! Also thanks for the review of the yarn. I’ve never ordered from KnitPicks before but it’d be nice to find a good acrylic with a wide range of colours 🙂
