Punky Skew

This was a fun experiment. I’ve adjusted patterns before to fit, namely me. Here though I was going off a pattern that’s a little different in construction and sized larger than my own feet. I was very glad to have had so much experience with the pattern before adjusting it.

Luckily Lynn was on hand and his feet were roughly the same measurements. Once I finished the first sock (and made many notes) the second sock just flew off the needles.

I still love the way the heels make swirls.

I teased about shaving Lynn’s legs for the photos. He agreed that I could. Sometimes I am amazed at what the man will do for me. I decided not to as that might be pushing, even if he agrees to it.

I love the heels too! The yarn is so cheery. My husband often offers to shave my legs, but I just can’t let him. Too afraid I will end up with lots of nicks and cuts!
