WIP Wednesday: Punky Skews

Knitting:
Once I got the numbers for this pair of socks the knitting is going great. I keep getting distracted by squishing the yarn, it’s so squishy and soft! I’ve also been pulling out my entire stash of yarn and loading it to Ravelry, which means measuring and photographing all the yarn. Lynn keeps softly laughing and saying he had no idea I had this much yarn. I don’t have the heart to tell him that it’s nothing compared to other stashes.

Writing:
Well, I was going to start on Unexpected Hero but I’ve been cleaning up the resume instead. Looks like novel work will wait a few more days.

Reading:

Palimpsest by Cathrynn M Valente. I’m a bit over halfway and loving the story. I love rereading a book because it’s a visit to familiar places and yet you find so many new things too.

Wow! Those socks are beautiful! I’m in the middle of taking a good hard look at my stash – can’t believe how much is there!

    • The color transitions make them so much fun to knit. 😀

I know that I have a lot of plans for my stash but it’s somewhat nebulous. With it all entered into Ravelry I can make sure the patterns I have in mind will work or find one that will. 😀

I think stash is deceptive and lies about how big it is so that we will buy more and feed it. 😉
