WIP Wednesday: Wildflowers

Knitting:
I saw the pattern for these socks and I just knew I’d have to make them. I was hoping that some of my wildly variegated yarns would be a good fit for it and it looks to be a perfect fit. I love the little squares and how they change up the colors. I’ve just started the second row of squares and I can’t wait to see how they come out.

Writing:
The story is poking at me .. a lot. I just need to find time to sit down and write.

Sewing:
I have the instructions for the March block and the fabric. I’m hoping to start cutting later today.

Reading:

A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin. I’m back to the world of Westeros and the Free Cities. I’m glad to be back, though feeling a little bit lost. I haven’t had a lot of time to read so the first couple of chapters have drug on since they start with viewpoints that haven’t been used before. But now I’ve gotten into names I know and can more easily place.

  1. Your socks are going to be beautiful. The yarn is so pretty.

That is a really cool sock pattern! I don’t think I’ve seen it before. It’s a really interesting idea. And, I think you’re right, it’s a great project for variegated yarn
